FinnHEMS is a state-owned company that manages the nationwide system of medical helicopters in Finland. We provide safe, high-quality and equitable emergency care in Finland in cooperation with wellbeing services counties. Our most important task is to provide high-quality emergency medical services in sudden and life-threatening situations. FinnHEMS reaches 80% of Finns within 30 minutes of an emergency call with its medical helicopters.
